CSD is electronic document format technology based products and services. CSD converts existing electronic document and content to a single CSD file format to allow view the converted file on various hardware and software platforms. CSD is "Compact" keeping layout, style, and font, compressed CSD files are more than 10 times smaller than the originals. CSD is also "Compatibl" no matter which application program the creator of the original format of document, converted CSD files can be viewed and utilized by PC and various mobile device platforms.

CSD file is created by printer driver processing. CSD takes printer spool data of original documents to converts them. When create CSD files, users have option to add CSD viewer program code into the converted file. The option allows users view the file without additional viewer program. CSD files are created on various platform environments such as Windows, Unix, Linux and Macintosh. CSD files are also converted from Office program files, Macintosh based Quark content files, and non-formatted data such as DB, XML etc. with no lose of original files. Regardless of original file format, the converted files can be easily provided for various services by CSD technology.

CSD Viewing Technology

CSD format of files can be viewed and utilized not only by PC but also by various mobile platforms. CSD viewer code is configured for 'easy porting', and the executable code (kernel) size is 70KB (Java based). The features of configuration and file size allows CSD files be supported by less powerful mobile devices. Now CSD viewers are ported on mobile devices such as mobile phones, PMP (Portable Multimedia Player), PSP®(Play Station Portable), and electronic dictionary. Basically CSD currently provides 'best-fitting' technology to support almost every computing environment such as MS Windows, Windows Mobile, Windows CE, Symbian, JAVA MIDP, REX OS, RT-OS, Qualcomm BREW, and Linux.
